Canadian Club Burger
Servings: 4
Preparation time: 5 minutes
BBQ time (medium-high temperature): 10 minutes
Ingredients :
- 1 pound (500 g) lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1 pinch dried oregano (optional)
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Canadian Club barbecue sauce, flavour of choice
- 4 burger buns
- Canadian Club barbecue sauce to serve
Preparation :
- Mix all ingredients except Canadian Club barbecue sauce and buns.
- Divide seasoned meat into 4 portions and mould each portion into a burger.
- Preheat barbecue according to the temperatures indicated above, depending on the heating medium that will be used to finish cooking the burgers.
- Baste each side of the burgers with half of the sauce and put them on the barbecue.
- Cook meat according for 10 minutes, turning pieces halfway through cooking and basting again with the remaining sauce. Grill the buns.
- Serve hot on buns with Canadian Club barbecue sauce.
