ORIENTAL DELIGHT TENDER
TURKEY BITES

Servings : 4

Ingredients:

  • Turkey breasts strips (1 lb)
  • 1 can (990 ml) Canton fondue bouillon ORIENTAL DELIGHT flavour
  • 4 tbsp (60 ml) canola oil
  • 1 cup (250 ml) celery, diagonally sliced
  • 1 cup (250 ml) onions
  • 1 cup (250 ml) carrots, diagonally sliced
  • 1 cup (250 ml) mushrooms (shiitake or white mushrooms), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp (2,5 ml) sesame oil (optional)
  • 5 tbsp (75 ml) cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) cold water
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) fresh coriander or basil, minced
Preparation:
  1. Sauté turkey strips in very hot oil over high heat for 5 minutes.

  2. Add onion, celery, carrots, mushrooms and sesame oil and cook 5 minutes over medium high heat. Add bouillon and bring to a boil.

  3. Mix cornstarch with cold water and add to the pan, mixing vigorously to prevent lumps.

  4. Add herbs and simmer 2 minutes longer.
Serve with jasmine rice or another rice of your choice.
